Barça's locker room threatens Real Madrid, Jota Jordi warns: 'They Should Get Ready'

The panelist from 'El Chiringuito de Jugones' claims to have spoken with a footballer from the Catalan club

FC Barcelona's defeat against Inter Milan in the Champions League semifinals is a significant blow both competitively and emotionally for Hansi Flick's players. The Barça squad, however, has another big match against Real Madrid ahead, which they approach not in the best conditions... both morally and physically, given the exhaustion suffered at the Giuseppe Meazza.

The debates about the fourth and final Clásico of the season consider what happened last Tuesday as one of the determining factors of that match in Montjuïc. Jota Jordi reveals that the Barça footballers, a few hours after the match, "were awake, they were returning, it was hard for them to sleep". That's why "I dedicated myself to sending messages and sending things that were happening on the set", confesses Jota Jordi.

Those contacts of the 'El Chiringuito de Jugones' panelist with several FC Barcelona footballers would have brought a very clear message from the Barça locker room. "I obviously can't show you, nor can I literally say what they replied... but the summary would be 'let them get ready'", Jota Jordi points out from those conversations with some of the footballers coached by Hansi Flick.

Jota Jordi warns Real Madrid on behalf of FC Barcelona: "let them get ready on Sunday. The feeling I get from that locker room is that it's very affected after the Champions elimination but remains very strengthened, more united, with more anger, with more desire to keep winning".

Two key matches

Jota Jordi understands that the best moment to recover from a new European failure is "against Real Madrid, on Sunday" in the fight for the LaLiga 24/25 leadership. Besides the desired victory against the white team next Sunday, May 11, FC Barcelona also has another classic day on Thursday the 15th, the following week. It will be against Espanyol, a Barcelona classic that could serve to "win the League".

In any case, the 'El Chiringuito de Jugones' panelist warns that Hansi Flick's players haven't given up yet. Despite the hard blow they have experienced with their elimination in the Champions League, the Barça locker room warns Real Madrid, "let them get ready," for the clash next Sunday. That match could define who takes the victory in the current league campaign.

FC Barcelona's defeat would complicate Barça's chances of winning LaLiga, narrowing the current point difference: they would go from having a considerable four-point advantage... to being separated from Real Madrid by just one point with four more matches to play. If the white club doesn't win and the 'threat' is carried out, the seven-point gap would be practically insurmountable.

That's why in the Ciudad Condal they want to keep spirits high in the final stretch of preparation for the Clásico. The match puts much more than three points at stake, given the position of both teams in the league standings and their performance in the current European campaign.
