Chelsea recovers after losing Huijsen and goes for another signing in Madrid style

Chelsea takes action and seeks to make a splash in the market after Madrid's theft of Huijsen

The arrival of a footballer like Dean Huijsen is undoubtedly a highly important addition for Real Madrid, which needs solid defenders. This, despite the presence of other teams like Chelsea, which had him on their radar. However, it seems that there is another footballer in the orbit of the white team who now enters the English club's plans as a kind of "revenge."

It is the great jewel of Dutch soccer: Jorrel Hato, defender of Ajax Amsterdam. This player was strongly rumored to join Real Madrid just a few months ago, but ultimately the white club opted for the Spaniard. Now, his possible move to Chelsea could be closed for a figure close to 50 million euros.

While this amount is not outrageous compared to what Huijsen would cost, for many there is no point of comparison in terms of projection. Even so, it would be a statement from Chelsea to take away a possible second option in central defense from Madrid.

Chelsea acts quickly

The London team knows perfectly well that it needs to fully enter the transfer market, despite having a large squad. This, with the intention of regaining prominence at the international level, something that has been challenging for them in recent seasons.

The incorporation of Jorrel Hato seems to be a decision in the right direction, considering his performance at the Dutch club. At just 19 years old, he represents a safe bet both in the short and long term.

For now, Real Madrid is fully focused on consolidating who will be their central defender for the coming years. Therefore, although Chelsea's move is important, it doesn't pose a significant blow to the white institution, which has other priorities.

Madrid focused on their own

It seems clear that the white team has no issue with Hato ending up at Chelsea. However, everything will depend on Ajax's decision, which has not yet given the definitive green light for his departure. In Valdebebas, they remain focused on their own project, without external distractions.
