Courtois can't contain himself after Gonzalo's goal, explosion of joy: 'You're...'
Real Madrid's Belgian goalkeeper dedicated a congratulation to the young academy player after his decisive goal.
Gonzalo García has become one of the protagonists of the quarterfinals of the Copa del Rey. The Castilla player played another match with the first team this Wednesday under Carlo Ancelotti's orders. It was against CD Leganés, a team that was eliminated after the agonizing goal by the Spanish striker.
Real Madrid started the match excellently and completed an almost perfect first half. Goals from Luka Modric and Endrick gave the Madridists an advantage, but a penalty converted by Juan Cruz brought the locals closer.

With Real Madrid stalled, suffering from CD Leganés's counterattacks and lacking some accuracy, Ancelotti turned to solutions.Gonzalo García entered the field in the last ten minutes, replacing Endrick, who also scored another goal in the Copa.

During those ten minutes, Gonzalo touched the ball three times, and on the third, he executed a perfect jump and turn to head in a precise cross from Brahim Díaz from the right. With that 2-3, Real Madrid secured a place among the top four clubs in the cup tournament.
"The match was stuck, and I knew there would be set pieces or some corner kicks. That's why I had to be in the area to put in any ball. I talked to Brahim and told him that when he was on the byline, to put it in," explained the striker.
"He placed it perfectly, and the ball went in by itself. It's the happiest day of my career along with my debut. Today surpasses it because of the importance of the goal and everything I've been working on this year," confessed Gonzalo García to Real Madrid TV's microphone.
