Despite the Victory, a First Team Player Was Singled Out and Exposed, Not Tchouaméni

Real Madrid beat Atalanta, but one player, who's not Tchouaméni, had a rather unfortunate performance

Real Madrid's victoryover Atalante left good and bad news for Ancelotti's team. The forward trident worked and Bellingham, Mbappé and Vinícius scored. In addition, they finally achieved a prestigious victory away from home, something that had been elusive this season.

However, it was not all joy, as some of Carletto's regulars were singled out. One of the players who has received most criticism this season is Tchouaméni, who played as a central defender in Bergamo. However, the player who came out worst off from the game was Rodrygo Goes.

The Brazilian was not drafted for the game against Girona due to muscular problems. It was more out of caution as he did travel to Bergamo with the team, although he was a substitute. But Mbappé's injury forced him to come on to the field and he was seen lacking rhythm.

He barely touched the ball or created any danger, and Madrid noticed this when building their attacks. In fact, his statistics show that he was not at the expected level. Rodrygo didn't win any duels, nor did he complete any key dribbles or passes, and he only shot once.

Injuries continue to plague Real Madrid before the end of the year

Real Madrid arrived in Bergamo with a full infirmary and without key players. Alaba, Camavinga, Mendy, Militão and Carvajal were not in the team against Atalanta even if they had been in the starting eleven. In addition, Mbappé left with a knock, and Vini and Rodrygo returned after injuries.

The list of injuries for Ancelotti's men is starting to be worrying in this final stretch before the end of the year. Beyond the mistakes made, he is not able to have continuity in the team. And that ends up affecting the Merengues when it comes to working and facing the games.
