Edu Aguirre, Angry, Points a Player after the Defeat against Barcelona

The commentator and journalist from "El Chiringuito de Jugones" condemns one of the best Real Madrid players

Real Madrid's defeat in the Spanish Supercopa final against Barcelona has caused a "quake" on many levels within the Meringue team. Although effects of these turbulences have been evident since the beginning of this week, opinions and analysis regarding what happened in Jeddah aren't over yet.

One of the latest to weigh in is Edu Aguirre. The particular vision of the journalist from El Chiringuito de Jugones regarding the Clásico played in Saudi Arabia has left a player pointed out. Far from focusing on the usual names, like Lucas Vázquez or Aurélien Tchouaméni, the commentator points to a player unexpected until now: Vinícius.

The commentator has made it clear that "it's always easy to point at Ancelotti, point at Tchouaméni, point at Lucas Vázquez, and that's it". However, that doesn't seem to be enough self-criticism to satisfy Edu Aguirre himself, who argues that "you can never lose 2-5 against Barça, never"... as long as the players give their all on the field.

"If Barça scores five against you, it's a matter of attitude, it's a matter of players walking", warns the journalist. He also maintains that the white team "lacks soccer" in the most important moments of the season, in addition to focusing on the poor decisions made by the white players. The focus of his criticism seems very clear.

He has been very harsh

"Vinícius is not Ronaldo Nazário, Vinícius is not Cristiano. Vinícius is great, but he has to understand that if he can win the Ballon d'Or and wins 'The Best,' he has to make more efforts against Barça" in 'big' matches. Because it's not the same to play "a Super Cup final" as it is to play "against Las Palmas, Betis, or Cádiz at Bernabéu".

Edu Aguirre wonders if "are there really players who need to be explained what a Clásico is?". The "indignation" the Madridist commentator feels with the lack of attitude and work from the white players, especially in top-level matches, is very clear. "Against Barça and due to bad attitude, you can't lose 2-5, never", Edu Aguirre concludes.

"What bothers me is that they embarrass us because Barça comes in the last two months. 0-4 and 2-5, and we go home, and I'm left with this face". Edu Aguirre makes it clear that "you can lose, but for the players and stars to be walking... here we need to start pointing fingers".

Because just as Kylian Mbappé was singled out when he had poor performance, Edu Aguirre points to Vinícius now that his performance has dropped: "get to work and run back. Against Barça, maybe you have to run. Or they'll embarrass you", concludes the journalist from "El Chiringuito de Jugones" after the defeat in the Spanish Super Cup.
