Eduardo Inda announces a certain sale after the Club World Cup, Xabi doesn't want him anymore

Eduardo Inda reveals which departure he believes will take place at Real Madrid this summer

Rodrygo Goes's future is hanging in the air despite having a contract until June 30, 2028. The Brazilian striker was not clear last summer when talking about his future, but in his latest statements he said he wants to stay. Eduardo Inda hinted yesterday on El Chiringuito that he has a strong chance of leaving.

"Real Madrid has taken the Club World Cup as an opportunity to see what happens with Rodrygo's future. So far in the tournament, he started in the first match, did not play a single second in the second, and played a few minutes in the third. Xabi Alonso has suggested to the club that if he leaves, it will not harm the team. That position would be covered with Arda, Brahim, and Mastantuono. There would be an overbooking in that area of the field. Real Madrid has signed players for a value of 160 and the 100 they could receive for Rodrygo (160 million and 100 million) could help make it a positive balance," said Eduardo Inda on El Chiringuito.

He also said that Rodrygo could be Real Madrid's big sale this summer and the club has valued him at 100 million. There could be some kind of agreement for 80 million in one payment and the rest in several installments. They have not received any official offer yet, but one could arrive in the coming weeks.

Everything hanging in the air

For now, after the first match of the World Cup, he has been a substitute in the next 2 matches and it is yet to be seen if he will play today. Rodrygo wants to feel important for Real Madrid and keep his starting spot. If he doesn't achieve that, he could consider leaving. The white club doesn't intend to force him out, but no longer sees him as untransferable

We will have to see which line-up Xabi Alonso chooses today and how Rodrygo performs in the coming matches. Meanwhile, there are several teams closely following his situation in case they can sign him. Some are willing to pay between 80 and 100 million euros.
