End of the dilemma and Florentino smiles, Xabi replaces Bellingham without spending a single €

After more than 1 year, Jude Bellingham has undergone surgery for his left shoulder injury. Once the World Cup ended, the Englishman couldn't delay a surgery that was necessary any longer. So that the Englishman's absence won't be noticeable, Xabi Alonso has chosen Güler and Mastantuono as his replacements, as we know at Defensa Central.

Instead of requesting the signing of a player to cover Bellingham's absence, Xabi trusts his squad. This decision has greatly pleased Florentino Pérez. After all the signings Real Madrid has made, the club now needs to balance its accounts.

This could only be achieved by the departure of other players instead of more signings. While Bellingham is a unique player, Güler and Mastantuono have the talent to cover his absence. The Englishman, who is already recovering, will be out for 3 months.

The chosen ones by Xabi Alonso

Arda Güler, during the Club World Cup, finally managed to show his worth to the team and the coach. Xabi Alonso trusted from the very beginning a player whom he placed in the midfield to guide the rest of the squad. Although he is a right winger, Xabi has made better use of his qualities as the team's playmaker.

Mastantuono, despite not having experience in Europe, will arrive as a great talent.  Although, like Güler, the Argentine is a right winger, Mastantuono has already played in midfield. His time at River Plate showed what he can do in this position.

Although both players have less experience than Bellingham, Xabi trusts them. This is a clear sign of the changes Real Madrid has undergone with Xabi. Aware of both players' talent, the Basque coach wants to make the most of them.
