Endrick gives Xabi Alonso good news, he already has a return date after his injury

The Brazilian has updated him on his injury and has already informed him when he expects to return

Xabi Alonso is taking advantage of the holidays to try to plan the upcoming season. It's true that during the Club World Cup he had a first contact, but it wasn't complete. He had players like Modric and Lucas who are no longer there, and the injured players were missing.

This is the case for Endrick, who, however, did travel to the United States to train with the team. The Brazilian was seeing how Gonzalo was threatening his spot with his performances. Even more so because the recovery period promised to be quite long in his case.

But Xabi has received good news, since Endrick has informed him of his return date. According to Defensa Central, he wants to be available by mid-September. That would make him miss only the first month of competition due to his injury.

The native of Tolosa hopes to gradually recover the injured players to empty the infirmary. Endrick's return will be important to strengthen the attacking area with a goal scorer. The Brazilian has shown he is quite effective in front of goal and will be important for the Basque coach.

Endrick's future is yet to be decided

Gonzalo's breakthrough in the Club World Cup was undoubtedly the big surprise for Real Madrid. To such an extent that the youth player has earned a spot in the first team this season. Xabi Alonso is clear about it and has asked the club not to sell him despite the offers he has.

That left Endrick in a delicate situation, since Xabi doesn't consider him an essential player. Although it doesn't seem like he will leave this summer, the rumors haven't stopped. Especially because he may have fewer minutes than he initially expects.

With Gonzalo he will have direct competition, since both are "number 9" strikers, but with the ability to move to the wing. It will be necessary to wait until September, if the deadlines are met, to see how Endrick fits in. Without a doubt both will push themselves to the limit if they want to have playing time with Xabi.
