Endrick's Confession about His Brace against Celta: 'I Think It Has been...'

The Brazilian forward reveals the key to his two goals

Real Madrid has defeated RC Celta de Vigo by five goals to two. Carlo Ancelotti's team faced their fans after what happened in Jeddah. Madrid was expecting to see a reaction from their team after the tough defeat against FC Barcelona.

Beyond the team's play, the important thing was securing the pass to the quarterfinals of the Cup. The game had everything and was practically decided. However, two defensive errors allowed the Vigo team to take the tie to extra time.

That's when Endrick appeared. The Brazilian became the unexpected hero of the night. He scored twice in extra time and showed he had a keen eye for goal.

Especially, the 3-2 was a very important goal that makes it clear he's a player who can succeed in the white jersey. The former Palmeiras player received a pass from Arda Güler and practically without looking, scored a great goal.

After the match, he spoke to the media and was very sincere. His words didn't go unnoticed: "I didn't look at the goal in any of the goals, I think it was God..." he stated.

The forward has always made it clear that he's very religious and has a lot of faith. Beyond that, the important thing is that, once again, he has shown he has great scoring ability. For this reason, in Valdebebas, some think he should play much more.

Good scoring records

It's true that he doesn't play as much as he would like. Ancelotti has said in the press room that he must be patient and that he's happy with everything he contributes and the way he works. Despite this, the notable thing is that Endrick has good records, even though he's not an undisputed starter.

This, evidently, means that we should be optimistic about this player and the future he may have ahead. He's happy in the capital of Spain, and with performances like last night's, he's going to earn his right to continue. Florentino isn't considering selling or loaning him.
