Fabrizio Romano Announces the Outcome of the 'Arabia Case,' Vini's Signing is Imminent
The Brazilian forward is reportedly getting closer to definitively resolving his future
One of the major sagas at Real Madrid this season, aside from all the changes planned after the elimination against Arsenal in the Champions League, is led by Vinícius. The '7' of the first team, along with several teams from the European soccer elite, is wanted by Saudi Arabia.
The intentions of several clubs in the Saudi Pro League to acquire his services became more than just rumors after the defeat in the Ballon d'Or. From that moment, the executives led by Florentino Pérez have repeatedly tried to approach Vinícius to secure his renewal, negotiations that have been really difficult to conclude.

According to information from Fabrizio Romano, the wait is getting closer to ending. The Italian journalist points out that Vinícius is about to reach an agreement with Real Madrid to renew, thus extending his current contract beyond the summer of 2027. That is the limit currently set in his employment relationship with the Madrid entity.
It is also the reason why several clubs from Saudi Arabia have approached the star from São Gonçalo, believing they could force an exit from Santiago Bernabéu locker room. Nothing could be further from the truth: while it is true that the initial proposals seduced Vinícius, subsequent contacts undid those minimal advances.
End in Sight
This shocking change of opinion has been reflected on more than one occasion in his public statements. Vinícius understands that his sporting future is at Real Madrid for more than two years, the limit currently set in his contract. Several reporters point out that the verdeamarelo winger will see that bond extended until mid-2030.
This way, Real Madrid would ensure Vinícius Jr.'s presence in the first team until the South American footballer reaches 30 years old. Then, from the white leadership, they could approach him with annual renewals, following one of the strict hiring policies set long ago, to continue his career with the team.

From that moment, everything would depend on Vinícius. The Carioca footballer wanted to play in Saudi Arabia for a maximum period of two years. But most of the contracts offered 'obliged' him to stay for at least three seasons: that was one of the reasons why Vinícius ended up rejecting his departure.
This way, Real Madrid would have managed to solve one of its major concerns for the upcoming seasons. The arrival of Kylian Mbappé has had little effect on the future of the São Gonçalo footballer, as both are beginning to understand each other on and off the field.
