Fabrizio Romano reveals it: he's already signed and Real Madrid will announce it after the World Cup
The footballer has convinced Xabi Alonso and will remain linked to the club for the coming years
"Brahim's contract renewal with Real Madrid is already done". This is how Fabrizio Romano announced the agreement that the club has reached with the Spanish-Moroccan forward. The player had a contract until 2027, but he will extend his deal at least until 2030.
Talks between Real Madrid and Brahim Díaz had been ongoing for some time, and it seems that there is now an agreement. The Italian journalist has already confirmed it on his social media with his usual announcement, so only the club's official statement remains. It's expected to become fully official after the Club World Cup, although the exact date is still unknown.

Brahim Díaz always wanted to stay at Real Madrid
Unlike other players in the squad, Brahim Díaz is very happy with his role at Real Madrid. The forward never shows a bad attitude and is able to understand the different situations throughout the season. He works as hard as anyone and always looks to make the most of the opportunities he's given.
For these reasons, Xabi Alonso wanted to count on him from the beginning for the coming seasons.Brahim Díaz, who had quite attractive offers from the Premier League, has chosen to renew and extend his deal with Real Madrid. In fact, Arsenal had started talks with the footballer's camp, but the answer was always negative.
Real Madrid keeps renewing several of its players
Currently, the release clause that Real Madrid has agreed with Brahim Díaz is €750 million, but it doesn't seem likely to increase. The forward is very much to Xabi Alonso's liking, although it remains to be seen what role the Basque coach will give the player.

With Carlo Ancelotti, Brahim Díaz was an impact player who always had periods of prominence throughout the season. The Spanish-Moroccan took advantage of injuries to certain key players to shine with great performances.
This way, Brahim Díaz's renewal would be the second for Real Madrid after Raúl Asencio's. The Canary Islands center-back renewed with the Madrid club until 2031. The next to sign a new contract with the club would be Thibaut Courtois, whose deal with the club ends in 2026.
