Neymar's father is clear, he'll return to Europe and a Champions team: 'I see him with Rodrygo'
Neymar was going to play in the Club World Cup with Al-Hilal, but the club and the player agreed to terminate his contract
The Club World Cup has kicked off in the United States and the "new" FIFA competition is being followed all over the globe. Despite criticism, such as that from the renowned Javier Tebas, this World Cup is here to stay and Real Madrid's desired debut will take place this Wednesday at 9:00 p.m. (Spanish time zone) against the Arab Al-Hilal.
In fact, it was at Al-Hilal where Neymar played until last January. However, both the club and the Brazilian footballer decided to terminate his contract after the injuries the player has suffered. The former Barça player, who tore the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee, was only able to play seven matches in two seasons in the East.
ASENCIO DICE NO AL PSG Y RENUEVA POR EL REAL MADRID
Neymar, who is now with Santos, the club where he developed as a professional, doesn't want to give up on playing in Europe again. His father, Neymar da Silva Santos, has delved into that possibility during an interview with "L'Equipe" in which he has defended his son regarding the criticism he has received for suffering so many injuries in such a short time.
"He goes out when he's on vacation or when he's not playing. The injuries didn't happen because he was going out with girls. Do you think he tore his cruciate ligaments by playing poker?" Neymar's father stated, who acts as the footballer's agent and is also responsible for NR SPorts, the company that manages the former PSG player's communications.
"It's impossible to avoid injuries in the life of a top-level footballer. Today he's fine, he's regained his spirits, his physical strength. He's still a bit short on speed. Everything is planned to increase," Neymar da Silva declared.
He sees it with Rodrygo
Neymar da Silva Santos has assessed Neymar's possible return to Europe. At 33 years old, according to his father, the winger would fit into several teams. "I see an interested market. This week we're going to Miami to talk with clubs. We have to listen to them and decide what we're going to do. There are also European clubs competing in the Champions League..." he asserted.

Neymar's aspiration, which is to recover, also includes going with Brazil to the 2026 World Cup. "He's not looking for comparisons with Messi. He wants to win the World Cup, for himself, for Brazil, for his fans. Everything is in place for it to work. The team is charming. I see Neymar with Vinicius, Rodrygo, Raphinha..." indicated the father of the former Al-Hilal player, who apparently wants to try his luck with Carlo Ancelotti in the "Canarinha".
