Fabrizio Romano reveals the next contract renewal after Brahim; it will not be Vinicius Jr.

With the arrival of the summer market, the transfer and exit window has begun. While Real Madrid has been busy with several signings and the departures of some important players, it has also had other operations underway. Renewals, above all, have been among the most important things the team is working on.

Brahim Díaz, who has been key in solving difficult matches, is finally close to reaching an agreement for his renewal. After two weeks of talks with Real Madrid, Brahim will extend his stay at a team that is already working on another renewal. Contrary to what one might think, this doesn't involve Vinicius Júnior.

Fabrizio Romano has revealed that the next star to renew is none other than the Belgian goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois. Having been important for Real Madrid since his arrival in 2018, the club is looking to secure the near future of its goal with this renewal.

At 33 years old, Thibaut Courtois remains the best goalkeeper in the world.  His performance this season was simply wonderful, making several key saves in extremely important matches. Even though injuries continued to affect him to some extent, the reality is that this didn't stop Courtois from continuing to perform at the highest level.

Although the 23/24 season wasn't the best due to his serious injury, his long period of absence didn't affect his performance. By keeping his place as Real Madrid's starting goalkeeper, the club is looking to keep the security of its goal through the renewal of the Belgian star.

Despite having been in the midst of rumors about a possible exit, Real Madrid has never doubted Courtois's continuity. Having been key to several of Real Madrid's recent successes, the club still trusts the goalkeeper's qualities.

Vinicius Júnior's renewal

Although Thibaut Courtois's renewal will be to secure the future of Real Madrid's goal, doubts about Vinicius keep growing.  With offers from Saudi Arabia, which are for multimillion amounts, Vinicius's renewal can't take any longer.
