Florentino Activates His Plan with Endrick and Gonzalo García for the Next 2 Years

Florentino Pérez has been very clear with two of his young strikers regarding next season

Gonzalo García and Endrick. Two young forwards that Real Madrid continues to shape to be key players in the first team in the future. However, their situations are different.

On one hand, Gonzalo made a mark during his time with the first team by scoring in the 93rd minute against Leganés in the Cup. That goal, which secured the pass to the next round, made many see him as a future scorer.

However, since that goal, he hasn't received many opportunities. The intense competition in the forward line has limited his playing time. Gonzalo continues to stand out in the reserve team, but he hasn't yet made the definitive leap to the first team.

What Is Happening with Endrick?

Meanwhile, Endrick, who does have a first-team spot, hasn't been able to stand out enough this season. He is delivering good performances and positive numbers in the Copa del Rey, but Carlo Ancelotti hasn't given him enough minutes.

There has been talk on several occasions of a possible loan so that his progress isn't hindered. In fact, some clubs in Europe have already contacted Real Madrid in the past to negotiate. However, the forward's goal is to continue progressing in Valdebebas, at least, for one more year.

Florentino Pérez's Plan with Endrick and Gonzalo García

Florentino Pérez doesn't want Gonzalo to become stagnant, and his goal is to make a decision that benefits both parties. The Real Madrid board is convinced of the forward's potential, although they believe he needs more playing time. Therefore, they have designed an ambitious roadmap that has already yielded positive results with other young talents developed at La Fábrica.

Real Madrid plans to follow the same model used with Dani Carvajal and Nico Paz. The idea is to sell 50% of Gonzalo's rights to the club he transfers to in July. If the forward meets expectations, the club can recover him in the future.

In contrast, Endrick will indeed stay at Real Madrid for one more season. However, if the Brazilian doesn't break through with standout performances, he could leave and make way for Gonzalo.
