Florentino rules out signing a superstar, it's now or never: 'If he waits a year
The decision Florentino Pérez has made regarding the signing of a top-level star for Real Madrid's goal
In one of the most recent bombs of this transfer window, PSG is open to selling Gianluigi Donnarumma. One of the heroes in winning the Champions League and one of the best goalkeepers in the world. In response to this, and according to Defensa Central, Florentino has replied: "If he waits a year, we'll bring him in for free."
Donnarumma, who was signed by PSG in 2021, has a contract with the Parisian club until 2026. While Manchester United is preparing to make an offer after renewing its interest, the amount to be offered is unknown. PSG has made it clear that they would only accept the Italian goalkeeper's departure if an offer for the right price arrives.
Although his value is €40 million according to Transfermarkt, Real Madrid won't make any offer. Florentino Pérez has been clear about how to carry out this transfer. As with previous signings, Donnarumma must arrive as a free agent.
An unexpected opportunity
Trained in the youth academies of Castellammare and AC Milan, Gianluigi Donnarumma made the leap to Milan's first team in 2015. After playing six seasons with Milan, Donnarumma became one of the best goalkeepers in the world. His importance was also transferred to the Italian national team, with which he has won a European Championship.

His last campaign at PSG was probably one of the best in his career. After a few key mistakes in the first half, Donnarumma improved his level for the second half. In 4,192 minutes played, Donnarumma kept 17 clean sheets and conceded 43 goals.
Despite his great performance, his departure from PSG during this transfer window seems imminent. While Real Madrid still has Courtois, the Belgian's age is a factor to consider. At 33 years old, Courtois is in the final seasons of his career.
A top-level replacement
At 26 years old, Donnarumma could secure Real Madrid's goal for the future. The only thing he needs to join the white club is simple: wait one more season. A task that, given Manchester United's interest, could have some complications
