Florentino Will Sell a Real Madrid Player in January to Make a Necessary Transfer
The soccer player isn't in Carlo Ancelotti's plans and his departure could be brought forward by several months
Jesús Vallejo has no place at Real Madrid. The player has only played 16 minutes the whole season and his experience on the field wasn't the best. With 3-0 on the scoreboard, Carlo Ancelotti decided to take the Aragonese off and the team ended up calling time (3-2).
The defender's contract expires on June 30th, 2025. Obviously, his contract will not be renewed, but he could end up leaving before the next summer market, when he would be a free agent.
Jesús Vallejo: farewell to Real Madrid in January?
According to information from Estadio Deportivo, Real Madrid would be open to looking for an exit for the player in the transfer market next winter. Jesús Vallejo doesn't count at all for Carlo Ancelotti and the Italian has already let him know on several occasions. In fact, at the time of Éder Militão's injury, the Reggiolo opted for Raúl Asencio ahead of the former Zaragoza player.
Real Madrid had already considered terminating his contract in the summer of 2024, but Jesús Vallejo wanted to stay at the club. The soccer player wants to complete his time at Real Madrid. He could have left last season, but given the lack of offers, he was in his full right to fulfill the years he signed for.
Furthermore, his departure would free up a space and a player in the squad. Florentino Pérez could bring in a player who Carlo Ancelotti would count on in the winter transfer market and thus strengthen the team.
A great companion, but...
There are no complaints about Jesús Vallejo when it comes to relationships between players . All members of the squad think he is a great person. A great example was the moment when, after the arrival of Jude Bellingham, the Aragonese left the number '5' free for the Englishman .
At the time, Real Madrid bet on him and rightly so. He was one of the best central defenders in Spain in terms of projection. However, his projection stagnated from one year to the next .
Jesús Vallejo entered a spiral of injuries that didn't allow him to develop as a footballer. In addition, he was unable to take advantage of his experiences away from Madrid due to various personal problems.
At 27, Jesús Vallejo still has the chance to continue playing soccer at a high level. However, his time at Real Madrid is about to end.
