Florentino will pay €100M for a superstar if there's a major sale, cash on hand

They have made the decision at the club, and they already know which deal they want to close

Real Madrid would have closed the door to the market, at least regarding signings this summer. It is true that there are still positions that seem to need reinforcement, such as center back or midfield. However, the club doesn't seem willing to make a major investment in either one.

Although that could radically change if an important departure takes place during August. Players like Rodrygo could bring in many millions for the club's coffers. Meanwhile, others like Alaba earn a high salary that, if they leave, Real Madrid would save.

If a major departure occurs, Florentino has 100 million ready to go after a superstar. They are considering two names, which would require significant spending, to strengthen the midfield. These are Enzo Fernández and Alexis Mac Allister, who have Xabi Alonso's approval.

Neither Chelsea nor Liverpool, respectively, are willing to lose their Argentine midfielders. They count on them and they are important in both coaches' plans. However, Real Madrid believes they are the two ideal players for whom they would make a financial commitment.

The idea is not to sign anyone else during this summer

Xabi Alonso has asked for a creative midfielder since he arrived at the club. He considered it one of the positions Real Madrid needed to strengthen the most this summer. However, although several candidates have been mentioned, none have been confirmed.

At Defensa Central, we have been able to find out that the club's idea is not to sign anyone else. Everything indicates that Ceballos will not leave after all, and Franco Mastantuono still has to join the team. Along with Arda Güler, the three will strengthen the midfield under Xabi's orders.

That's why they would only go after Enzo Fernández or Alexis Mac Allister if there is a major departure. That currently seems complicated since Rodrygo also wants to stay. Meanwhile, Vinícius would postpone his decision until 2026, when that could be the definitive chapter.
