End of the Arda Güler Case: Gabri Veiga Will Return to Europe in Grand Style
Gabri Veiga's Return to European Soccer Has Decided Arda Güler's Fate for the Next Season
After a season plagued by injuries, Arda Güler was ready to shine during this campaign. With the willingness and goal to succeed with Real Madrid, Güler hasn't obtained the minutes he wanted with the team. This has led to countless rumors about a possible departure at the end of the current campaign.
While AC Milan showed interest in signing Güler, the Italian team has changed its target. With the young Gabri Veiga's desire to return to Europe, Milan is one of the main teams that will fight for his signing. This change of plans has ruled out, at least for now, a possible departure of Güler from Real Madrid.

Despite the interest in Güler, Milan knew that the operation for his departure would be much more complicated to finalize than Veiga's. With the Al Ahli player willing to leave before the end of his contract, the operation for his services is much more affordable.
The Veiga Effect
Leaving Celta de Vigo in 2023 heading to Al Ahli, Gabri Veiga disappointed several clubs with this decision. Being able to have gone to a big club in Europe, the Spaniard opted for the easy money of Arab soccer. A decision he has shown regret for and that has caused him, at 22 years old, to seek a return to Europe.
While his signing for Milan is still far off, the progress made has further ruled out Güler's possible arrival. The 20-year-old Turk is not having a great season with Real Madrid, playing just 1,088 minutes.

Needing more minutes to progress as a player, Milan was offering just that to Arda Güler. However, with the possible signing of Veiga, Güler's stay at Real Madrid for the next season is practically a reality.
Güler's Future
Although his departure hasn't been completely ruled out, Veiga's arrival at Milan is a great relief for Arda. Even so, Güler knows perfectly well that, looking ahead to the last months of competition, he must change his situation if he truly seeks to stay at the club.
