The Center Back of the Future Says Goodbye to Real Madrid, He's One Step Away From Playing in England

This center-back distances himself from signing for Real Madrid, and in England, they are considering going crazy for him.

The white team has had a considerable number of problems during the last season due to injuries in the defensive system. In this regard, different options have been considered, including the return of legendary players to solve this problem. However, it seems that one of the main options the white team had on their lists could definitely leave.

We are referring to Sporting Portugal's center-back, Ousmane Diomande, who was one of the great references for Florentino Pérez. However, everything points to him being closer to joining English soccer rather than Real Madrid. A decision that could almost definitively distance him from a future with the whites.

His soccer performance in Portuguese soccer has been so impressive at his age that, for this reason, he is being considered a key signing. Nevertheless, it seems that the proposal from English soccer is much more tempting to both the player and his agents.

Moving Away from Real Madrid

This 21-year-old player seems to have everything necessary to become a center-back for the future of any team. He has established himself as one of the most decisive players in his squad and in his position.

However, when a team like Chelsea positions itself as a candidate to sign him, it becomes an unfeasible operation. The figures paid by the British team for previous signings are simply outrageous. This could trigger Florentino Pérez and Real Madrid's management to completely deny his incorporation.

For now, everything points to this potential signing being on hold to see the outcome of the coming months. However, if the English club presents an outrageous offer, it is almost certain that he will not join Real Madrid.

Florentino Waits Patiently

The white president knows perfectly well how the transfer market works and, now more than ever, he will wait patiently. However, what is being conveyed from the management is that everything is complicated and that they will have to look for other possible candidates in the market.
