Gonzalo García, from First Team Player against Deportiva to K.O., Ancelotti Corrects

Last-minute change will leave the academy player unable to start

Real Madrid's line-up against Deportiva Minera could have several unexpected surprises from Ancelotti. The only thing we know for sure is that Rüdiger and Courtois aren't included in the team. However, the coach has taken everyone available.

There's also the presence of several academy players, and one who was expected to start was Gonzalo García. One of Castilla's great stars could have a very special moment. However, it seems he won't be in Ancelotti's starting formation.

The reason is Jesús Vallejo's absence, who reportedly stayed in Madrid due to physical issues. This means that alongside Raúl Asencio, Diego Aguado, another academy player, will be in the central defense. The presence of the latter goes against Gonzalo, who will have to wait on the bench for his chance.

The regulations only allow the presence of 3 players without a first-team contract on the field. Raúl Asensio and Diego Aguado don't have it, and the third will be the right wing, Lorenzo Aguado. With them, Gonzalo can't be part of the line-up, and Ancelotti will have to change his plans.

Opportunity for the youth ccademy, but also for some of the less regular players

The Copa del Rey match against Deportiva Minera was a good opportunity to see less regular players. Besides the youth players mentioned earlier, there are other players expected to start. Especially Endrick and Arda Güler, who have a great opportunity ahead of them.

The Brazilian and the Turk are two of the names that Madrid fans are most eager to see on the field. They believe that if they have a good game and are decisive, they could convince Ancelotti. It's a test to earn more minutes from now on this season.

Besides them, Lunin will start, and from there, we'll have to see who else makes it into the line-up. Even regulars like Ceballos, Fran García, or Camavinga could play. In fact, the latter two weren't starters against Valencia, which could be significant for this Monday.
