Historic blow from Mijatovic to Barcelona after Rashford's signing: they don't have...

The forceful words with which Barcelona's reality has been exposed by Mijatovic

This transfer market is turning into a joke on the part of Fútbol Club Barcelona. After its failure in the transfer of Nico Williams, Barcelona is close to securing the signing of Marcus Rashford. A move that sparked a strong comment from Pedja Mijatovic: "They don't have money, when you sign a loaned player it's because you don't have money."

A reality that many Culers don't want to accept, but it's what Barcelona has shown with this operation. "When you do things like this, it's because you're not sure he's going to play well," Mijatovic added to his words. The former Real Madrid player has shown, with these words, the mediocrity surrounding Barcelona's current situation.

Marcus Rashford, who once became an important player in the Premier League, will now arrive on loan with a purchase option. An operation that Barcelona only set in motion after the embarrassment with Nico Williams and failing to secure the transfer of Luis Díaz.

The reality of Mijatovic's words

Barcelona has always been a team that loves to show off its supposed greatness to everyone. The lie of the best club in the history of this sport was destroyed after Real Madrid's successes. Now, facing its serious financial crisis, the club has done nothing but increase its debt through senseless moves.

Despite being 5 ft. 11 in. (1.80 meters) tall and 27 years old, Marcus Rashford never managed to become the player he promised to be at Manchester United. With one or two decent seasons, Rashford was finally sidelined from the team by Ruben Amorim, his last coach at United.

Loaned to Aston Villa, Rashford wasn't close to recovering his best form. Even so, Barcelona chose to sign him to reinforce a position that's already well covered. An unnecessary player for a team that keeps making quite questionable moves.

The same story as always

Despite what Barcelona may say, its reality continues to be surrounded by mediocrity. The signing of Rashford looks set to be another failure on Barcelona's list. Pedja Mijatovic, despite provoking discomfort among the Culer fans, revealed the reality of the club.
