Huijsen speaks out after the red card with an indirect message for Gil Manzano

There's no doubt that what happened in the last match between Real Madrid and Real Sociedad was a true embarrassment on the referee's part. For the umpteenth time, Jesús Gil Manzano was the main protagonist of the match, issuing an unjustifiable red card against Dean Huijsen.  On this matter, the player has spoken out and surprised many: "Thank you team for being so good, I love you."

This way, through his social media, he expresses considerable regret for the action, although he left for the locker room upset by the referee's decision. For many, this could be a very similar action on the player's part, as he doesn't complain at any time about the decision. However, for many, it speaks about his annoyance, since by not mentioning it, it means he cares little or nothing about what happens to him.

He Doesn't Give It Importance

Jesús Gil Manzano has been a rather disastrous protagonist for Real Madrid, which on several occasions has been harmed by his decisions. However, in this match, what happened was absolutely unreal, with a decision that wasn't even checked by VAR. In response, the young defender immediately showed considerable annoyance at the decision, since the play pointed to a different outcome.

After this, on his social media, he decided to communicate this to the team, which managed to secure a victory despite having been left with one less player for more than an hour of the remaining match. Clearly, he has moved many Madridists who know perfectly well that he made a mistake, but it wasn't deserving of that punishment. Some have wished him to come back as well as possible and to take care during these suspension matches so he can return even stronger.

In addition, Real Madrid seems to be quite tired of this situation and will file a complaint with FIFA about it. What happened with Jesús Gil Manzano has already been seen before, as he was the referee who awarded three penalties against Real Madrid in a single match. There was also that disallowed goal in the final minutes by Bellingham against Valencia a couple of seasons ago.

This Will Continue For Now

Unfortunately for the young defender and all his teammates, this seems to be the pattern that the refereeing body will have against Real Madrid. At least until there is a change by the authorities, where at least FIFA will have to intervene immediately. The white team is at the mercy of this, and the players must be even more careful.
