Javier Tebas Takes It out on Vinícius and Plans to File a Complaint, Vallecas Scandal Continues

Javier Tebas points to Vinícius and decides to file a complaint after what happened last Saturday in Vallecas

For some time now,  Javier Tebas has been on a crusade against Real Madrid and Vinícius Jr. and he doesn't hold back. His statements against the white team and Florentino have become habitual. But neither has the Brazilian been spared with his controversial actions or inactions against racism.

Both the player and the club have repeatedly criticized the little defense he has. But it seems that Tebas has wanted to go a step further and is now seeks to point the finger at him. We have just learned that LaLiga is going to file a complaint against the game between Rayo Vallecano and Real Madrid.

As Vinícius left the field, chants could be heard from the rows at the Vallecas Stadium. So far, the only chant heard was “Vinícius, beach ball,” but we don’t know if there are more. The Brazilian replied with a gesture, sending them to the Second Division.

Now, Tebas has taken the decision to report both actions to the Disciplinary Committee. Let's remember that it is the same body that didn't see anything strange in Martínez Munuera not reflecting insults in the report. It was in a game at the Sadar a few months ago against Osasuna.

They want to blame Vinícius for what happened in Vallecas

It should be remembered that the match ended in a 3-3 draw after a penalty not called on Vinícius. The refereeing controversy was very serious but they have tried to put it aside by putting the focus on the Brazilian. The first to try to do so was Martín Presa, president of Rayo.

In an interview this past Sunday, he tried to blame the Brazilian by pointing out only his gestures. "These attitudes like Vinícius's are not appropriate" said Presa. In fact, he went so far as to say that the people behaved in a very polite manner" without paying attention to the chants.

We will have to see what they decide because neither what was sung nor the gesture seems to be as serious as insults. Although it must be remembered that nothing has happened to Tebas and LaLiga before. And we have not seen them take measures in reply to other images starring Maffeo, Raillo or Alejo.
