Josep Pedrerol Announces the Amount Madrid Doesn't Want to Pay to Sign Arnold

The white team already knows the price of the British winger to transfer him in the winter market

It seems clear that if Real Madrid makes any transfer in January, it will be Alexander Arnold. It's the only possibility currently being considered in the Valdebebas offices to strengthen the team. It also doesn't seem easy for this operation to be finalized.

After losing the Spanish Supercopa, Florentino's back in action to try to bring him in. He believes Arnold could be the solution to the problems they're having. It wouldn't compromise the market plans since his arrival would only be brought forward by a few months.

If they want him now, Josep Pedrerol has announced the amount they would have to pay. Liverpool seems to want to obtain between 35 and 40 million euros with the transfer of their winger. We'll see if Madrid reaches those figures, since his transfer will be free in June.

That's the big dilemma they currently have on their hands and are trying to solve. On one hand, they know it would be an expenditure not planned for the winter market. However, it would solve the problems they're having with the right flank.

Lucas Vázquez was once again singled out in the Clásico for his defensive fragility

In the Super Cup final, Lucas Vázquez was one of the players who was once again singled out. His performance in the Clásico wasn't up to the expected level for a match of that caliber. Against the big teams, he's been struggling too much this season.

In fact, seeking a heroic comeback, he was one of the changes Ancelotti made in the second half. He took the Galician off the field to place Fede Valverde on the right flank. A substitution that left him affected by the result they were experiencing and the defensive fragility.

That's why Florentino has reactivated the transfer of Alexander Arnold for the winter market. He believes it could be the solution to the problems they've been experiencing. At least on that right side where opponents keep generating danger.
