Jota Jordi, on the Verge of Tears, Directly Accuses LaLiga and the RFEF: It Bothers Them
The Barça fan isn't digesting very well everything that happened in the "Olmo case"
The first soap opera of 2025 is courtesy of FC Barcelona. The entity presided over by Joan Laporta had six months, since securing Dani Olmo's transfer, to gather the necessary funds for his definitive registration in the first team.
However, not even some hectic negotiations on New Year's Eve could work the miracle. Although FC Barcelona claims to have delivered the money and documentation on time and in proper form, both LaLiga and RFEF make it clear that they haven't received anything at all. Therefore, as of today, Dani is officially unregistered from the Barça team.
The blow to Barcelona fans has been tremendous. The loss of this player is a more than significant setback for their competitive aspirations for the current soccer season, after a dismal performance in December. For Jota Jordi, the 'Olmo case' can only be understood as a way to harm Barça, third in the standings, which has already suffered several defeats in LaLiga.
So much so that "there are people who want to sell" that FC Barcelona's image is "terrible" in everything related to the 'Olmo case'. "There are people in Barcelona who claim to be fans and what they have are particular interests to get where they want to go. Who are buying your discourse", the commentator says.
Impressive opinion
It's true that the entity presided over by Joan Laporta has been "trying to register players for four years". As he rightly points out, "every time we try, we have problems". The reason would be the "coincidence" that "the president of LaLiga is from Madrid, the president of the Spanish Federation is from Madrid, and all the institutions are from Madrid".
According to Jota Jordi, the governing entities of Spanish soccer have decided that "it's not in their interest for Barça to do well". Therefore, they would have refused, comments the Barça commentator, to accept Dani Olmo's registration... even though those official bodies claim not to have any documentation or money related to that operation.
Jordi is clear that Barcelona is a victim of institutions like RFEF and LaLiga, whom he points to for having denied Olmo's registration in the team. His only argument points to a sort of conspiracy against FC Barcelona and in favor of Real Madrid... constantly embroiled in legal disputes with LaLiga and clearly opposed to the CTA since the outbreak of a 'Negreira case' involving FC Barcelona itself.
The Barça panelist, at the same time, ignores the poor financial situation that the Catalan team's treasury has been going through for many years. The 'levers' set in motion by Joan Laporta since his return to the presidency in 2021 have worked so far. The deadlines designated for this operation can't be easily changed, especially when they've had so much time to carry out this management.
