Juanfe Sanz Announces CTA's Stance After the Derby, They Side With Real Madrid

The controversy with refereeing hasn't dissipated after the 1-1 draw in Bernabéu classic. The atmosphere was tense after what happened in Cornellà, affecting Real Madrid. The white club published a letter asking for explanations and a change in the refereeing body.

But in the classic, there was another controversial play that harmed Real Madrid and cost them two points. A dubious penalty was called from the VAR in an action between Tchouaméni and Samu Lino. The published audios, which were released quickly, leave many doubts about the decision made.

However, Juanfe Sanz has come to the defense of the referees on El Chiringuito, as is usually the case. An opinion that many like Maldini, Gerard López, or Mateu Lahoz don't share.

The discussions have been filled with analysts, who are not Madridists, criticizing what happened in the classic. But it seems that the CTA is going in another direction according to Juanfe. In fact, he adds that "they consider that there is a clear and obvious error and it is a reason for intervention."

Inconsistencies with the VAR That Harm Real Madrid Once Again

But in the classic, they don't see anything strange; on the contrary, they are trying to applaud an intervention full of inconsistencies. The CTA believes that the VAR did well by calling the referee. They assure that "for Soto Grado to make the judgment and make the final decision."
