Copa del Rey's Draw

The round of 16 of the Copa del Rey is here. The Federation is drawing this Wednesday at 1 p.m., at Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas the pairings for a new round with novelties. From now on, First Division teams can play against each other.

When will the round of 16 games be?

The round of 16 of the Copa del Rey will be played on January 14th, 15th, and 16th. The pots gathered 12 First Division teams, three from the Second, and one from the First Federation (Ourense CF) and another from the Second (Pontevedra). The lower division clubs will play at home; and in the case of games between teams of the same category, it'll be played at the home of the team drawn first.

 

Real Madrid, which already defeated Deportiva Minera 0-5 in the first round of the Copa del Rey, will play against (). The white team will play this game after completing their participation in the Supercopa de España in Saudi Arabia. Several days later, Ancelotti's team will host Las Palmas at the Bernabéu in a month where they could play up to nine games.
