Lamine Yamal gets fired up about the Ballon d'Or, his controversial statement: 'He's going to...'

With the regular season coming to an end, the race for the Ballon d'Or has begun. With several players having earned merits to win it, Lamine Yamal has offered some arrogant words about this trophy.  Believing he's had a spectacular season, Yamal has once again shown his growing arrogance.

"The Ballon d'Or will come," were his words to make it clear that, sooner or later, he'll win this award. Close to naming himself as the best player of the year, Yamal couldn't hide his desire to win this trophy. "You'll do badly if you think you need the Ballon d'Or," Yamal added, trying to mask his clear intentions.

Looking down on players like Dembélé, Yamal once again showed his lack, if not total absence, of values. Believing he's the best player in the world, the reality is that Yamal isn't even close to being the best in LaLiga.

At just 17 years old, Lamine Yamal has shown an arrogance like no other player has had in the past. Having only two seasons in the elite of European soccer, Yamal has started to hear the praise of the culé fans.
