Barça's latest embarrassment: debut at Camp Nou in jeopardy due to inspection

The risks that have been recorded at Camp Nou and that have exposed Barcelona's poor management

Trying to imitate Real Madrid's success with the new Santiago Bernabéu, Barcelona also began to renovate its stadium. Joan Laporta, along with the entire club, has worked to excite Culers with the desired return to Camp Nou. However, according to information from RAC1, the stadium has more than 200 deficiencies in its first phase.

The inspection, carried out by ECA technicians, has made it clear that Camp Nou is far from ready. According to what we know at Defensa Central, Barcelona hoped to play against Valencia next September 14 at its stadium. However, this won't be possible due to the lack of time to obtain the licenses.

This has left the match against Valencia in real danger of not being able to take place at Camp Nou.  A hard blow for a club but, above all, for Laporta, who has been promising for a long time that the works are going well. It remains to be seen what excuse or way Laporta finds to try to get out of this situation.

Another disappointment from Barcelona

Starting the remodeling works in June 2023, Barcelona has promised that the new Camp Nou will be the best stadium in the world. New technologies, amenities, and a huge capacity are some of the promises made by the club. Unfortunately for Culers, these promises are far from reality.

The team itself expected the works to be finished in August of next year. A date that shows the club's ridiculous hopes for a project that will take more time. Not passing the first phase of the works will greatly delay this Culer project.

Without a doubt, this will be a hard blow for the economy of a Barcelona that remains in crisis. Although the club adopted Estadio Olímpico de Montjuïc as its home, it's complicated for the team to return. Without a fixed stadium and with LaLiga about to begin, Barcelona's situation is serious.

One more lie to Culers

Joan Laporta, since his return to Barcelona's presidency, has blatantly lied to the fans. His promises have only been empty words that, for some reason, still excite the Culer fans. The situation with Camp Nou is the latest embarrassment in the long list Barcelona has had for a decade.
