Liverpool's wonder kid has Juni Calafat 'smitten'

For years, one of the most important names at Real Madrid has been Juni Calafat. Tasked with identifying and signing the best talents in the world, Calafat has set his sights on a Liverpool star. Rio Ngumoha, the young prospect from the British squad, is the player who has caught Juni Calafat's attention.

Despite being part of Liverpool's under-21 team, Ngumoha has already excelled with the first team. During the last match against Newcastle, Ngumoha was Liverpool's hero by scoring in the final minute. In light of this outstanding performance, Juni Calafat is analyzing his progress this season.

With a value of €10 million (10 millones de euros) according to Transfermarkt, his signing is affordable for Real Madrid. The only major drawback is having to negotiate with Liverpool, a club with which the relationship is not the best. Although the squads don't hate each other, Trent's departure and the interest in Konaté have caused some tension.

A signing for the future

For now, Juni Calafat will only keep analyzing Ngumoha's progress throughout the season. If the player continues to impress as he has, Calafat would have no doubts about his signing. The operation for his services, even so, could also be affected if a club seeks to compete for the signing.
