Fabrizio Romano has also pointed out that all the procedures were completed "secretly," including the medical examination that would have cemented Lucas's move to the German side.

According to the Italian journalist, the agreement between the former Real Madrid full-back and Bayer Leverkusen will be signed today, Tuesday, August 26. It will be then that Lucas Vázquez will officially become a new player for the German squad and will definitively join the sports discipline previously led by Xabi Alonso.
