Lunin for sale: Inda confirms the Ukrainian could leave Real Madrid

Real Madrid willing to consider the goalkeeper's departure due to his situation

Lunin's future at Real Madrid could be numbered according to the latest reports. It's a rumor that's been circulating for weeks and is gaining traction. It seems that the club is already considering offers for the Ukrainian goalkeeper.

This season, Lunin has once again seen that he barely had any playing time under Ancelotti. He was the Copa goalkeeper and only played when Courtois wasn't available for some reason. When the final against Barça arrived, the Belgian returned as the starter, leaving him on the bench.

To make matters worse, it seems that his transfer is already being discussed in Valdebebas according to Eduardo Inda. "Real Madrid want to move Lunin because they can make money, he has a market and they can get money for him," he stated. So he could be used as a bargaining chip.

If he already had little playing time, Real Madrid believe they can bring in a good amount for him. They'd be willing to listen to offers with his departure in mind during the current summer transfer window. That's what Eduardo Inda reported on El Chiringuito about Lunin.

Lunin's future is once again a topic of discussion at Real Madrid

Last summer, there was a lot of speculation about Lunin's departure, with Jorge Mendes working behind the scenes. His contract was set to expire in 2025, so they could've profited by leaving on a free transfer. To everyone's surprise, the season began with the announcement of his contract renewal.

But that didn't guarantee that he'd stay at Real Madrid in the future or in the long term. The lack of playing time could be decisive in his decision to leave. Even more so if Los Merengues are also willing to listen to offers for him.

That would force the club to move in the market to find a good alternative to Lunin. Joan García was the most favored option, but it seems he's getting closer to Barça. So they'll have to keep an eye on other candidates, such as Kepa's return, which hasn't been ruled out.
