Maffeo Loses His Cool After Madrid's Defeat Against Barça: I Care...

The Mallorca footballer has once again declared his anti-Madrid stance by criticizing the club and the white players

Pablo Maffeo has done it again. The Mallorca full-back has sparked controversy in an interview on the program D-Lokos de Radio Marca Baleares, where he reviewed his clashes with Real Madrid and once again made statements that have not gone unnoticed.

"I'm not anti-Madridist, because my mood doesn't depend on whether they win or lose," he explained. Although he immediately made it clear that he has no sympathy for the white club: "If there's a Barça-Madrid final, I want Barça to win, but I don't care. It doesn't affect me."

"I Don't Like Madrid Players"

Maffeo once again criticized Real Madrid footballers. "I don't like them, and it's no secret," he stated. "I'm not saying they are, but from the experiences I've had, they seemed disrespectful to me," he clarified.

He also criticized the media attention he receives every time he makes a controversial gesture: "When I want to appear in MARCA, I make a gesture and I appear. And if I fart, I show up on Real Madrid TV. I don't care. To put it bluntly: I don't give a damn."

Harsh on the Pressure Madrid Exerts on Referees

Referring to the debate over refereeing and the pressure that, according to many, Madrid exerts, Maffeo was blunt: "If the big teams complain, imagine what we small ones could say." And he added: "I support the referees. I've also felt that pressure."

These statements come just before Mallorca faces Real Madrid on matchday 36, in a key match for the Balearic team, especially if the whites come from winning the Clásico in Montjuïc.

Maffeo has been on the island for four seasons and feels comfortable. "This year I would like to renew. I've become happy again, I have stability and a romantic relationship," he confessed.

However, he made it clear that the decision is not in his hands: "It depends on Pablo Ortells. If he doesn't want to renew me, I'll leave with great memories."

Pablo Maffeo doesn't hide. He speaks clearly. And every time he does, Real Madrid ends up at the center of the conversation.
