Manchester City wants to bring Vinícius and Haaland together, huge offer in 2026

They are preparing a major offer to sign the Madridist by taking advantage of its situation

Guardiola doesn't seem to take his eyes off Real Madrid as he thinks about strengthening his attack. This summer, we've seen how they've reactivated their interest in signing Rodrygo. However, the former Santos player seems convinced that he'll stay with the white team despite the rumors.

Given this situation, Manchester City has changed its target and is now looking at Vinicius Jr. According to reports from England, and as Defensa Central has confirmed, they're preparing a huge offer. €150 million to try to secure the services of the Brazilian in the summer of 2026.

Pep Guardiola's side keep aiming to turn Manchester City into the best team in the world. To achieve this, they want to assemble a fearsome attack with Haaland and Vinicius sharing the locker room. They're willing to make a great effort to achieve their goal with the number 7 from Madrid.

It's important to note that this transfer window, City has suffered significant losses in its attacking line. Grealish was sent out on loan and McAtee was transferred to Nottingham Forest, leaving two open spots. They first considered Rodrygo, but now they're looking at Vinicius to complete their attack.

Vinicius's situation may help Manchester City

One of the reasons why Manchester City has set its sights on Vinicius is his contract situation. He still has a contract until 2027, but Real Madrid hasn't managed to finalize his renewal. The talks show two positions that are far apart regarding the financial aspect and aren't bringing their views closer together.

Although there has even been speculation about this summer, it seems that in the end, no move will take place.  Everything is postponed until the next summer transfer window, when both parties will have to make a decision. What happens on the field during the season could be key.

At the white club, they're willing to improve their salary offer if his performances are those of a true star. Otherwise, Vini will have to give in and accept a lower figure since he wouldn't have earned it. All this with City paying close attention to try to make an offer that could convince him.
