Mbappé airs PSG's dirty laundry, a serious accusation that turns France upside down
The long legal dispute between the French squad and the Bondy forward is far from over
The figure of Kylian Mbappé continues to generate controversy in France. His last two years with PSG were a preparation for the constant controversies that have now emerged since he became a Real Madrid player. Most of those disputes have reached lawyers and judges, with the first verdicts ruling in favor of the "9" in white.
The lawsuit for €55 million ($55 million) that the Parisian club owes its former player in unpaid salaries and bonuses is not the only legal "conflict." While it is the one that has drawn the most attention so far, due to the competitive implications it could have for PSG, another new legal front has emerged for that club.

The information published by the France-Presse news agency reveals a new lawsuit filed by Kylian Mbappé's lawyers against the rouge-et-bleu squad. In this regard, Kylian Mbappé accuses PSG of an alleged attempt at extortion that took place during the summer of 2023. His future was hanging in the air due to the hypothetical interest from Real Madrid, a multi-million euro offer that never materialized.
The filing of this lawsuit against his former club states that PSG's top executives tried to make him sign a new contract while he was banned from training with the first team. That case already caused much discontent and certain clashes with sports justice and players' associations in France.
The matter gets complicated
The entity chaired by Nasser Al-Khelaïfi could see those disputes resume after this new lawsuit that Kylian Mbappé has filed against PSG. The only ties the Bondy striker has with the French club are precisely these legal claims, since his most notable link with the first team is Achraf Hakimi.
In any case, Kylian Mbappé is putting more pressure from the legal front on the team recently crowned champion of Europe. PSG's participation in the Club World Cup also makes it one of the teams to beat to win the tournament organized by FIFA, performances overshadowed by this lawsuit.

Kylian Mbappé's personal and professional circle has indicated that they will continue to pursue their objectives through legal means until they receive the compensation they believe they deserve. Not only for the "case" of the €55 million ($55 million) in fees and bonuses, corresponding to the player's last year of contract in the French capital, still unpaid.
That's why the litigation and lawsuits between Kylian Mbappé and PSG will continue in a "legal war" that has already lasted about two years. Neither party is willing to give in in this regard, prolonging a debate that those closest to the "9" in white want to end in order to focus on his time as a Madridist.
