Mbappé's Cup Final at Risk: This is the Injury He Has in His Ankle
He was injured against Arsenal and might not make it to the Copa Clásico on the 26th
Real Madrid couldn't achieve the comeback against Arsenal in a match where they put more heart than soccer. Ancelotti's team wasn't even able to secure a victory at the Bernabéu. To make matters worse, Mbappé gave a scare 10 days before the Cup final.
With about 20 minutes left in the match, Mbappé was lying on the ground. He had twisted his ankle, and his expressions of pain were more than evident, prompting the doctors to rush in. He eventually left the field, although he did so on his own feet.

The initial examinations confirmed that he has a mild sprain in his right ankle. Mbappé won't be able to play this Sunday against Athletic, as he is suspended due to his red card. But all eyes are on the upcoming 26th, when the Cup final against Barça takes place.
This Friday, he will undergo more tests to determine the real extent of Kylian's injury. This will be crucial to know if he can be at La Cartuja to play in the Cup Clásico. Before that, he might get some playtime in the match at the Coliseum against Getafe in the midweek league round.
Mbappé Criticized After the Arsenal Knockout
Real Madrid reached the round of 16 after eliminating Manchester City in the play-offs. A hat-trick by Mbappé in the return leg at the Bernabéu crushed Guardiola's team. With that precedent, Madrid fans once again relied on him against Arsenal.

However, if he was lackluster in the first leg, even though he was the only one up front who tried, he wasn't present in the return leg either. A long-range shot, a couple of plays moving between lines, and not much else. Until his injury, it seems like the destined end to his first Champions journey with Real Madrid.
The crowd at the Bernabéu showed their displeasure, with some whistles as he left the field. Kylian is starting to realize how demanding the stands are with big stars. Zidane and Benzema experienced it and turned it around, let's see if he can do the same.
