Meeting With Vinícius and Unrefusable Offer Push the Player Out of Real Madrid
The Brazilian footballer's entourage maintains close contacts with his offers from Saudi Arabia.
The saga starring Vinícius so far this season has led to a striking exchange of information regarding the future of the verdeamarelo forward due to the multimillion-dollar offers from Saudi Arabia. The interest of the Saudi Pro League in making the current '7' of Madrid their franchise player has prompted various meetings with some of the emissaries of this emerging competition.
The information published by MARCA, as well as by Radio MARCA, reveals that the conversations between Vinícius and Saudi Arabia began in 2023, a time when no one suspected anything at all. The first contacts between the Saudi Pro League and Vinícius's entourage took place just over a year ago, in a videoconference meeting. In that virtual meeting, besides Vinícius and his representatives, there were some "intermediaries and very relevant figures from the Saudi Arabian Royal House".

The conversation lasted, according to Radio MARCA, a quarter of an hour. The then '20' of Real Madrid showed a striking interest in everything that would mean his departure from Santiago Bernabéu locker room. The second meeting, according to the aforementioned media, took place in person in the capital of the Czech Republic: Prague.
In that European city meeting, Vinícius's agents met again, joined by the South American striker himself, with "the vice president of the Saudi Pro League, Saad Al Lazeez". That was the moment when the Saudi clubs interested in his incorporation, for the upcoming summer markets, launched the multimillion-dollar offer that everyone is talking about.
Much Caution
In MARCA and Radio MARCA they warn that Saudi Arabia would be willing to offer a salary of 1 billion euros to the Real Madrid player. That exorbitant amount of money would be distributed over five years of contract, so he would receive a total of 200 million euros for each season played. Real Madrid, while working tirelessly on their renewal offer, knows they can't compete with figures that far exceed their designated budget.
"From Arabia, they bet on him playing in Jeddah", although Al-Hilal has become one of the Saudi Pro League clubs most interested in Neymar Jr.'s departure. Considering all the "economic, sports, and personal" projections that this approach from Saudi Arabia offers, the footballer's entourage has long understood it as an "irresistible offer".

The good feelings that Saudi Arabia's proposal evokes in Vinícius's entourage have led to "just 3 weeks ago his agent traveled to the Arab country" according to MARCA. The footballer's concerns about his image, already established in the European football elite, are due to the fact that the Saudi Pro League is still a national competition under construction. Episodes of racism also raise some doubts about this significant tournament change.
"To date, Vinícius hasn't made a firm decision about his future", they point out in Radio MARCA. Real Madrid remains firm on the matter until the summer of 2027: any team wishing to sign him before that date must pay the release clause.
