Juanma Rodríguez's most epic entrance on 'El Chiringuito': 'Culés can't believe it'
The Madridist panelist imagined a surreal staging for the most recent show
One of the most striking sagas in recent times is related to Nico Williams's signing. FC Barcelona approached the Athletic Club de Bilbao footballer for the second consecutive year, aiming to secure his services. The number "10" of the Basque squad requested several conditions, given the complicated financial situation of the Catalan club, which weren't met.
That's why the Spanish striker decided to renew his contract until the summer of 2035 with Athletic Club de Bilbao. That contract extension is protected by a €90 million ($97.5 million) release clause, a figure that would definitely keep him from the possibility of playing in the Catalan club's jersey.

This second failure in signing Nico Williams has sparked all kinds of reactions. One of the most viral and impactful came thanks to Juanma Rodríguez, who made a unique entrance to the set of "El Chiringuito de Jugones." The panelist walked down the hallway leading to the darkened recording and broadcast set, illuminated by several floor spotlights, accompanied by epic music.
Those slow movements, as if he wanted to add more suspense to his entrance, ended with his entrance to "El Chiringuito de Jugones". The journalist and panelist took off his hood and revealed the main element of his entrance: a wig imitating Nico Williams's hairstyle and his Athletic Club jersey.
All pointed out
That staging was designed to respond directly to an idea launched several days earlier. The panelist Lluís Carrasco, in an episode of "Solo para culés," had imagined Nico Williams's presentation by FC Barcelona... trusting that the leaders headed by Joan Laporta would be able to achieve that signing.
Nothing could be further from the truth. Juanma Rodríguez, after revealing himself in that improvised Nico Williams costume, left a striking message as if he were the forward. "Culés, I know it's not the same, but I'm already here", he said looking at the camera.

He also recalled Lluís Carrasco's words during that imagined presentation in "Solo para culés": "More than a club, the strength of a hug". Juanma Rodríguez delivered a striking show in his entrance to "El Chiringuito de Jugones" to point out the FC Barcelona panelists who had believed in Nico Williams's signing.
This is one of the latest reactions, perhaps even the most viral, after the Catalan fiasco in the second "Williams case." The discrepancies between the Catalan club's offer and the footballer's will, who wanted to receive a letter of freedom if he couldn't be registered, have made the difference this summer.
