Madrid's most expensive restaurant, just a few minutes from Bernabéu, and these are the prices
Very close to Santiago Bernabéu stadium, there is a 'top-level' restaurant.
We are talking about "DiverXO". It is located in the Eurobuilding Hotel, on Padre Damián Street 23. Its owner, Dabiz Muñoz, winner of three Michelin stars and considered for the third consecutive time the best chef in the world.
Dabiz Muñoz, has triumphed again in the seventh edition of The Best Chefs Awards, for his innovative cuisine and his avant-garde way of creating.
"DiverXO" is the most expensive restaurant in Madrid. It offers a tasting menu for 450 euros, a price that can increase if one chooses any of the pairing options that range from 300 to 900 euros.
Dabiz Muñoz calls his dishes "canvases" and they are designed to surprise. Customer service is very alert and with personalized service. This also justifies the high price.
His haute cuisine has been described by many as "radical" and "innovative". On his own website, it is detailed as "a journey through hedonistic, indulgent, and creative cuisine, an avant-garde cuisine where anything is possible".
"DiverXO" doesn't have a menu and focuses on a tasting menu named "The Kitchen of the Flying Pigs," which is priced at 450 euros.
Let's remember that Dabiz Muñoz worked in restaurants specialized in Asian food in London.
Extensive experience
In the year 2007, he inaugurated "DiverXO". In 2010, he received the first Michelin star. With his fusion cuisine restaurant, he received a second Michelin star in 2012.
In 2013, the restaurant became the eighth in Spain, and the only one in Madrid, with three Michelin stars. It offers complex cuisine made with various techniques and products from different gastronomies.
Daviz opened a restaurant in London, "StreetXoLondon," from which they recorded four programs for "Cuatro," called "El Xef".
Subsequently, in 2020, he closed "StreetXoLondon," as it suffered losses due to the pandemic.
To be able to reserve at DiverXO, it is necessary to purchase a ticket. The ticket price is 450 euros (VAT included) per person, which corresponds to the total price of the menu (drinks excluded), and is deducted from the final bill on the day of the visit to the restaurant.
