Neither Barça nor PSG: which team has won the UEFA Super Cup the most times
The team that has won the UEFA Super Cup the most is clear, and neither Barça nor PSG have achieved it
Among international titles, the UEFA Super Cup regularly tends to be quite underrated. It's a title that only those who have won Europe's top competitions, such as the Champions League and Europa League, can compete for. At the top of all these is the white team, with six Super Cups obtained in 2002, 2014, 2016, 2017, 2022, and 2024.
Following them are the teams with five, including Milan and Barcelona, followed by Liverpool with four of these titles and Atlético de Madrid with three, without ever having won a Champions League. Now, Paris Saint Germain will try in this next edition on Wednesday, August 13, to take the title against Tottenham.
Madrid is always number one
It's quite clear that the white team has been and will always be number one when it comes to official international titles. It's not only a dominant force in the Champions League with 15, more than double the second place. It also does so with that Super Cup played after winning the Champions League.

Barcelona is also quite close, although given its most recent history in Europe, it seems very far from catching up to the white club. Meanwhile, there are strong contenders who could compete with the merengue team, such as Liverpool, which is going through a good moment. However, the current champion of Europe doesn't seem to have any chance as it's still trying to win its first cup.
Paris Saint Germain had a magnificent season, where it managed to conquer the Champions League, although it didn't achieve the desired septuple. Nevertheless, it's clear that a team of this level doesn't even compare to the history of Real Madrid. The titles are already displayed in the merengue trophy cabinets, while the Parisians only dream of them.
We must keep making a difference
With the current squad, it's only necessary to adjust those details so it works like a Swiss watch. This way, the Champions League will return to Santiago Bernabéu and, with it, possibly another UEFA Super Cup.
