Neither Endrick nor Arda Güler, Florentino is Desperate to Avoid Another Odegaard Case
The chances of a repeat of what happened with the Norwegian have put Real Madrid's president on alert.
Real Madrid has gotten used to getting good performance from the young talents that join the club. Varane, Casemiro, Fede Valverde, or Vinícius are just a few examples of that policy. They arrived as diamond in the roughs and ended up thriving while wearing the merengue jersey.
However, among all of them, there's a very particular case which is Martin Odegaard's time at Bernabéu. The Norwegian didn't quite adapt and didn't want to fight for a spot in the rotation. This led him to leave for Arsenal where he has become a star, although leaving millions in Madrid's coffers.
However, Florentino's idea is for those players to shine at Santiago Bernabéu. That's why he's eager to prevent a repeat of his case with another young talent. Despite the rumors surrounding Endrick and Arda Güler, it's neither of them.
It's Nico Paz, the youth player who last summer went to Italian club Como, where he's been excelling. On the table was the possible return of the Argentine to the white team. However, the latest news suggests that this option is becoming increasingly complicated.
Inter is Interested in Nico Paz and Complicates Real Madrid's Plans
In recent hours, there has been speculation about the possibility that Inter wants to sign Nico Paz. It was Gazzetta dello Sport that reported on the nerazzurri's interest. Something that jeopardizes the plans Real Madrid had for his return.
The whites retain 50 percent of his rights and have a buyback clause signed. Additionally, it would extend for the next 3 years, but now everything could change. If Inter goes for Nico, they must make a move this summer if they want to get him back.
Florentino doesn't want to lose a player they consider the greatest talent from La Fábrica permanently. They had high hopes that he could reach the first team. However, if Simone Inzhagi's team insists on him, they could ruin everything they had in mind.
