Neither Huijsen nor Saliba: The Future Center-Back Slipping Away from Real Madrid

 In recent months, many names of defenders have emerged who could end up playing for Real Madrid. The club has a need to strengthen those positions, which leads to many more rumors arising. Some are indeed being followed by the club, but others are not, although they are liked.

In the case of Jorrel Hato, it is true that Real Madrid has been analyzing him. The problem is that in the Netherlands, there is already talk of an auction for the footballer, because several Premier League clubs are interested. The most notable are Chelsea, Arsenal, and Liverpool, who are also looking to strengthen their defense.

According to Dutch journalist Mike Verweij,  Chelsea has a strong interest in the 19-year-old. The London club is also keeping an eye on the future of Dean Huijsen, the young Spanish international who is very much liked by Real Madrid. However, they are not willing to give up on any of these players. 

Watching the Market

Despite everything, Real Madrid is very alert to young footballers who may be available to join the project. There are many they like, but the Madrid entity is very mindful of the contractual situations of the footballers. They are not willing to pay any amount.

This is something that limits them quite a bit, especially given the current state of the transfer market. The price of center-backs has risen significantly, and Real Madrid has to accept that. Otherwise, they will be left without strengthening those positions, allowing direct rivals in Europe to do so.

Very Calm

This is how they find themselves at Real Madrid despite everything.  They are satisfied with the squad they have at the moment, although they acknowledge that several adjustments need to be made to raise the level. For this reason, it is not ruled out that there will be several important moves to improve the team.

This means that there could also be a significant departure. It is something that no one can rule out after a complicated season like this one. Real Madrid never closes the door to any player, but they do ask for significant offers to be brought in.
