The Italian coach sent a message to one of his players on social media

Real Madrid achieved a 2-0 victory against Girona CF on matchday 25 of LaLiga. Goals from Luka Modric, just before halftime, and Vinícius, in the final minutes, kept the white team in the fight for the leadership.

Modric's powerful shot from outside the box in the 41st minute and Thibaut Courtois's interventions between the posts were essential. Despite Girona's effort, Real Madrid sealed their victory with a goal from Vinícius as the match was nearing its conclusion.

With this victory, Real Madrid reaches 54 points, tying with Barcelona in the standings and maintaining the pressure on the culés.

Carlo Ancelotti and the Return of David Alaba

David Alaba returned to the starting line-up with Real Madrid after several months of recovery following a complicated injury. After the 2-0 victory against Girona CF, the Italian coach spoke to the media, expressing his satisfaction with his level and good performance.

"After a very long injury, he played a good match. He was comfortable, well-positioned, and calm with and without the ball," explained the Italian coach in the press conference.

"Little by little, he's seeking his best level, and we mustn't forget that he was ready a month ago, but he had another injury," he commented.

"He only lacks minutes. Playing every three days could be a risk, but one match per week he can handle well without problems. I was able to rest Rüdiger and Valverde, and little by little, we have less emergency at the back," concluded Carlo Ancelotti regarding the Austrian.

A Message on Social Media

Beyond his words, Carlo Ancelotti wanted to have a special gesture with David Alaba. The Italian dedicated a very special message to the player on social media.

On his Instagram profile, the Italian coach of Real Madrid posted a photo with the player. Additionally, he wrote the following message: "Welcome back, champion," he commented.

Little by little, David Alaba will continue integrating into the team's dynamics and will accumulate more and more minutes. Without a doubt, Carlo Ancelotti counts on him for the final stretch of the season.
