The new president of the referees sends a message to Real Madrid: 'Now...'
Francisco Soto, new CEO of CTA, has sought to put an end to all the controversy
Francisco Soto, new president of the CTA, spoke to the media this Wednesday at the Ciudad del Fútbol de Las Rozas. During the event, the CEO of the Comité mentioned Real Madrid after the controversies with the previous refereeing leadership in recent months. From the beginning, he wanted to close that chapter and put an end to the "controversies" surrounding the white club.
"We need to reset the counter and be constructive. Now's not the time to get into pointless controversies. Empathy, trust, and together we're going to make sure the refereeing group is where it needs to be", he explained.

"In my view, these are isolated issues that add nothing. We need to leave all those possible controversies behind. The future will be much better for everyone", added Francisco Soto.
Rafael Louzán fully trusts Francisco Soto
Meanwhile, Rafael Louzán wanted to publicly express his satisfaction after the selection of Francisco Soto for the position. "We've seen in Fran his management skills, leadership, and above all, his ability to build bridges and create great teams. He's taking on this new challenge, which is no small feat", he explained.
Additionally, Francisco Soto announced that in the coming days he will speak with his entire work team. "I really like working as a team. We're going to form the strongest possible team to try to take refereeing to the highest levels nationally and internationally", he commented.
Francisco Soto asked the soccer world for trust, since he believes the change will take some time. "I'm asking everyone in the soccer world for trust. On what we all agree, we're going to put it into action, and on what we don't, we're going to keep up the dialogue, dialogue, dialogue, and more dialogue", he stated.

"We need to see if we're able to make sure the group has all the needs that all the actors in the soccer world are demanding", he concluded.
Finally, Francisco Soto made it clear that decisions will be made by people, although they won't leave out Artificial Intelligence: "Decisions will be made by people. Artificial intelligence is here to help, not to replace."
