No One Else in Europe Has Done It: Valverde Achieved a Record in Cartagonova
Fede Valverde has reached a historic milestone he hopes to continue expanding in upcoming games
Fede Valverde was once again key in a Real Madrid victory. The Uruguayan midfielder, who started the game, scored the first of the five goals with a spectacular volley in the 5th minute.
Additionally, the Uruguayan midfielder reached a true milestone with his start against Deportiva Minera. Fede Valverde is the only player in the top European leagues who has started all 28 games this season.
One of Real Madrid's key players
With seven goals so far this season, and standing out as the team's fourth top scorer, Valverde is a unique player. "Helping the team in the best way possible, working, defending, helping a bit in attack... And if I can score goals, even better", the Uruguayan commented after the game.
"I'm very happy that the coach continues to consider me for every game, happy that he still has confidence in me", stated Fede Valverde.
"We all had a good performance. Obviously, I want to highlight the young players who debuted tonight in very good form. May they continue on this path, training, working, and they will have their reward", the midfielder explained on Real Madrid TV.
Mentions being tired again
The player emphasized how special it is to continue wearing the Real Madrid jersey, despite the accumulated fatigue.
"I'm always proud to wear this jersey. Even though I'm tired, I'm always happy", the player concluded after the match.
Fede Valverde was one of the surprising choices in the starting eleven. Everyone expected to see the Uruguayan on the bench after having played most of the minutes in other competitions. However, Carlo Ancelotti opted for his presence in the midfield, and the player replied with a goal in the first five minutes.
Finally, Carlo Ancelotti understood that Fede Valverde's match had to end at halftime, when the score already showed 0-3. The Uruguayan left the field for Dani Ceballos in the 46th minute, allowing him to rest the entire second half.
"We can't give anything away because we play as visitors. For us, it's like a final, and we gave it our all", the player concluded.
