Over €100 Million Offer and Florentino Gives the OK, City Comes Full Force

At just 21 years old, Florian Wirtz managed to establish himself as an excellent player last season. Becoming the leader of Bayer Leverkusen, the German has managed to exploit his potential thanks to Xabi Alonso. Although his contract with Leverkusen is until 2027, the club knows they won't be able to retain their star for much longer. With the offer of more than 100M in which City is working, Wirtz's future is outside the Bundesliga.

Although Real Madrid remain interested in his operation, Florentino Pérez's stance has been definitive. The president is clear that, despite Wirtz's great projection, he won't disburse a large sum that could end up affecting Real Madrid's state.
