Official: UEFA's Decision on Rüdiger for the Match Against Arsenal Is Made
UEFA Reveals the Sanction for Three Madrid Players After Their Gestures at the Metropolitano
UEFA has imposed a one-match suspension on Mbappé, Rüdiger, and Ceballos due to their defiant gestures toward Atlético de Madrid's fans. It all happened after the Champions League round of 16 match at the Metropolitano. However, the sanction will not be applied immediately, so the three players will be available for the crucial match against Arsenal.
Following its usual regulations, UEFA has suspended the sanction for one year. This means that if the Frenchman, the German, or the Spaniard repeat a similar offense, they will have to serve a one-match suspension. Otherwise, the sanction will be nullified.
Meanwhile, the three footballers have been fined financially: 40,000 euros for Rüdiger, 30,000 for Mbappé, and 20,000 for Ceballos.

Vinícius Hasn't Received Any Sanction from UEFA
Dani Ceballos, although he didn't play the match due to injury, has been fined 20,000 euros. It was for the same reason as his teammates: "violation of the basic rules of decent conduct". However, unlike Mbappé and Rüdiger, he doesn't face the risk of suspension.
Meanwhile, Vinícius Jr. has been completely exonerated and will not face any sanction from UEFA.
Good News Ahead of the Clash Against Arsenal
In general terms, despite the sanctions imposed on three players, UEFA's decisions do not compromise Real Madrid's availability for the crucial match at Wembley. Carlo Ancelotti will have his entire squad and can field his best eleven in one of the most important matches of the season.

During the celebration at the Metropolitano, the white team celebrated their qualification to the quarter-finals, aware of the significance of the setting. UEFA imposes financial fines, but it doesn't prevent three Real Madrid players from missing the match against Arsenal.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid continues preparing for their next match against Valencia CF. The Madrid team trains in Valdebebas ahead of the clash they have before the Champions League. From there, the whites will travel to London to face the first of the two commitments against the 'gunners'.
