The Osasuna player who's received a huge ovation from Santiago Bernabéu

Víctor Muñoz received Bernabéu's affection as he entered the field in the 65th minute.

This happens because he was very recently under Xabi Alonso's orders. In fact, he played a few minutes in the Club World Cup with Real Madrid.

This show of affection from Santiago Bernabéu proves that Víctor Muñoz is still remembered by the fans. Despite the few minutes he played with the first team, Víctor managed to leave his mark in the youth academy. Although he is now part of Osasuna, the young winger is aware that Bernabéu will always welcome him.

Arriving at Real Madrid's youth academy in 2021, Víctor Muñoz managed to move up the ranks quickly. Starting in Juvenil A, Víctor reached Castilla during the summer of 2023. A promotion that, above all, showed the great talent Víctor has as a left winger.

His impact in the youth academy was such that during the last Clásico of last season, Ancelotti decided to give him some playing time. Having opportunities to score, Víctor showed flashes of his quality. However, given the number of players in the Merengue squad, the youth player had no choice but to leave this summer for Osasuna.

Although the club is not as competitive as Real Madrid, it provides the perfect stage for Víctor to grow as a footballer. At just 22 years old, Víctor is beginning his story as a professional.
