Ouazane and 5 more signings for Arbeloa, Real Madrid Castilla are also strengthening
The first merengue reserve team is preparing for a major squad renewal
Real Madrid is working to get the squad ready for next season. Xabi Alonso has already worked with part of the team this Monday with the Club World Cup in mind. However, the club isn't only focusing on that point when it comes to the transfer market.
At Castilla, Raúl's departure and Álvaro Arbeloa's "promotion" as the new coach have already been announced. In addition, in recent hours, Ouazane's signing as the main star is considered a done deal. The young player arrives from Ajax and, at age 16, will join the first reserve team.

However, that's not the only move they want to make to strengthen Castilla for next season. It involves Jesús Fortea, Diego Aguado, Joan Martínez, Mario Rivas, and Víctor Valdepeñas. The five will be promoted from Juvenil A to Real Madrid's first reserve team.
Arbeloa knows them and knows what they can contribute, which is why he wants to keep them under his orders. It will also mean that they can keep progressing and not stagnate in their careers. The club views this decision positively and has given it the green light.
A new project at Castilla with several important moves in the squad
Arbeloa's arrival on Castilla's bench will mean making important decisions about several players. Asencio has already been promoted to the first team as a full member. Others like Gonzalo, Chema, or Jacobo Ramón could get their chance.

If Xabi doesn't count on them, they could be sent out on loan for next season. The idea is for them to keep getting minutes, now at the elite level, and offers from Primera could arrive. This way, they'll get quality minutes to keep progressing in their development.
It will also serve to make room for players the club trusts a lot. In fact, Xabi Alonso himself will be keeping an eye on Jesús Fortea, Diego Aguado, and Joan Martínez. Three academy players who could even be present in first team training sessions.
