Pedrerol Doesn't Hide and Shows His Barça Side to the Surprise of Buyo and Roncero
The host of the famous program left a message for the Real Madrid commentators after Barça's victory
FC Barcelona secured a decisive victory against Borussia Dortmund at Signal Iduna Park. The Catalans won 2-3 thanks to goals from Raphinha and Ferran Torres, who scored twice.
The victory has lifted spirits in Barcelona after a League game in which they again lost points to Real Betis. The Catalans needed some joy, as they are seeing that Real Madrid now has to rely on themselves to return to the top.
Although they had a tough time at the start, Barça ended up winning the game. However, they are not proving to be a dominant team and their defensive facet leaves much to be desired.
Josep Pedrerol's message to Real Madrid fans
After Barça's victory, Josep Pedrerol took advantage of a new program on 'El Chiringuito' to address all the Meringues. The host left Tomás Roncero and Paco Buyo speechless with his words.
"I think it's a day when the culés really enjoy watching you," said Josep Pedrerol while addressing the Real Madrid commentators. "Let's let the Barça fans enjoy watching Paco Buyo, remembering Obrevo..." he commented.
"It's a fantastic night for the culés," said Josep Pedrerol while Jota Jordi and other blaugranas showed a happy face.
A short-lived joy...
The fact that Barça is in great form in Europe in terms of results is a reason for celebration for the culés. However, we must not fool ourselves. FC Barcelona is a team that also has its limitations and that when push comes to shove it is not usually very reliable.
It has been proven in recent years. After having a good group stage, Barça fell in a resounding way against Roma, Juventus, Liverpool or Bayern. Shameful results that will be remembered forever.
In addition, they haven't been a strong team in recent games in the league. The poor run of form in the domestic championship has meant that Real Madrid, nine points behind, now depends on itself. They are capable of losing games against mid- or lower-table clubs, whether at home or away from Barcelona.
The Champions League is a competition that is very detrimental in the final rounds, and Barça knows this more than anyone. And it doesn't seem like this year will be any different.
